Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving in Louisville with Grandma B and Poppy. The kids had a blast with their cousins, Chloe and Angelina along with being at Grandma B's house! The highlight of the trip was when Olivia and Haley went with Dad and Poppy to get their new cowboy boots. This is their early Christmas present since we will be at Grandma Reeves house for Christmas. Olivia picked out hot pink metallic ones while Haley's are metallic blue. They LOVE them. Olivia had a riding lesson and wouldn't wear her new boots b/c they could get dirty and wouldn't be sparkly any more!

Happy Halloween

Halloween lasted for a week! The girls had a party at school, church and trick or treating around a friends neighborhood. Needless to say multiply 3 kids x 3 night = a mammoth amount of candy! We poured it all out on the floor and they each got to fill a little tin. Jason took the rest to work.
We went to a friends house Halloween night and the dad's took the kids around the neighborhood. Haley was Ariel(b/c she has red hair too), Olivia was Belle and Caroline was a ladybug. They all looked cute but had to wear clothes under their dresses b/c it was so cold!!!!

Pumpkin Carving

The girls carved/painted their pumpkins this weekend. Haley and Caroline painted theirs while Olivia and Daddy carved and painted a "spooky" pumpkin. Caroline didn't want anything to do with the pumpkin guts, "oh, yuck" according to her.

Big Girl Bike!

The Reeves ladies
Haley's first ride on her new bike!
Caroline is angry, she wants to "ride" her bike

Wednesday, Jason and I spent the day with Haley to celebrate her 4th birthday! She got a new bike and helmet. We took the kids to the park for Haley to try out her new bike. She did great and loved it. Olivia was so encouraging and cheering her on "you can do it, just go a little faster". We definitely looked like a parade, hard to believe next summer we will have 3 bikes to watch when Caroline starts to ride!

Happy Birthday!

Haley had her birthday party this Saturday at a local gymnastics gym. She loved running around with all her friends, jumping on the trampoline and swinging on the bars. Hard to believe she is 4! It seems like yesterday we brought her home, yet I struggle to remember life without her. Jason and I are spending the day with her on Wednesday to eat pizza, ice cream and get a big girl bike!!!!

Dad's Birthday

For Dad's Birthday we met at Dale Hollow lake. We stayed the weekend in a cabin and spent all day on the boat. The kids had a blast and were exhausted! Jason tore his MCL water skiing, big show off! This makes me miss our days with the BBU at Shasta or just Mayfield lake, we had a blast growing up spending weekends on the boat.

Olivia's First Horse Show

Olivia did her first horse show and won a blue ribbon! She looked great (for borrowing her friends shirt and hat). I know bad mom for not being prepared. She rode Mocha which is the horse she usually rides in her lessons. Olivia is an animal lover she is drawn to them, definitely inherited from her dad. She loved it and we will hopefully do another one next month.

Labor Day Fun

For Labor Day Jason and Dad

when to Milwaukee for the 105th Harley Anniversary. The girls and I stayed with mom. The girls had a blast with putting on Grandma's make-up, perfume and lotions, we all looked pretty...yikes.

Haley's First Day!

After much anticipation Haley had her first day of school too! She loves her class and teacher. She goes 2 days a week to the 4 year old class. We are working on writing (I need lots of patience with this) and cutting.

Kindergarten

Olivia officially started school! Today was her first day in kindergarten...I can't believe it. She was such a trooper and came out grinning ear to ear about her first day. She did make a friend but doesn't know their name :)
Haley had registration yesterday and met her teacher. She is excited to start too.
